youtu.be/PQmWI5UIPHs?...
The film features an in-concert sequence with David Bowie in Berlin which was the main reason I wanted to go.
But taking a shy Catholic girl to a film full of cold turkey projectile vomiting and simulated handjobs was... foolish!
I (15,M) took Patricia (F, 14) to movies for first date. She wanted to see Raiders of the Lost Ark, I convinced her to instead see German language teen heroin addiction and prostitution biopic Christiane F (we were both underage, but I got us in).
There was no second date, IWTA.
Love a brass ensemble taking it to the streets:

Seconded! Sleeping Dogs deserves to be on this list.

I talk about the slow, slow, quick-quick, slow of publishing for writers in this week's newsletter; plus details on how UK readers can win a bundle of five Cesare Aldo historical thrillers:

Well, just ordered his latest Venice-set book! Marvelling at his bookshop signings in St Andrews and Dundee. The Tay Bridge shut totally mid day ... #Booksky

Sabbatical leave? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
I've been @edinburghnapier.bsky.social since 2009.
Ain't no sabbatical leave round here.
Very few people coming to Ice Cream for a Broken Tooth but I have decided not to worry - I will create different experiments every night- and if there are eight people there , so be it -I will be fully committed

Not quite the tree-logging analogy, but imagine if you used AI to make bonsai. Would the AI version do the unexpected, the unique - or simply approximate a bonsai based on every other bonsai? Be the sum of all its influences, or demonstrate genuine inspiration?
