Bake in oven for about 50mins-1 hour or until risen and golden brown - test with a skewer, if clean your done if not -a little bit longer.
This is important
Cool in tin for 15 mins before ( it will sink and shrink a little - this will help to get out of the tin )

Spoon half of the batter into the tin and scatter over the chopped strawberries then top with the rest of batter
Now place the halved strawberries- cut slide down in a pattern around the tin on top of the batter

In one bowl
Sift flour and baking powder into this and then
Stir in sugar

In another bowl
Beat eggs, oil, sour cream or yoghurt and vanilla.

Now stir into the dry ingredients until evenly combined like a batter and smooth.

Preheat oven 180c- fan
Grease and line tin -I used a 8” (20cm) diameter tin and deep

You’ll need two bowls.

1 punnet of strawberries = 8 meduim strawberries- halved , quartered and chopped and the rest halved.
125ml/4fl oz sour cream or yoghurt
1 tsp vanilla extract

Strawberry cake

What you need:
90ml/3floz of sunflower oil
125 mg of plain flour
125 mg of ground almonds
1 1/2tsp baking powder
200g/7oz caster sugar
2 eggs

Only a subset of patients respond to immunotherapy

We conducted an unbiased analysis of response biomarkers and found that hundreds of possible biomarkers collapse into five latent, orthogonal factors that underlie immunotherapy response.

One of the really important concepts being reinforced here is that immunotherapy is more effective given prior to other treatments. I cannot emphasize it enough.

Ideally this informs translational approaches as well as clinical practice.

A bench-to-bedside targeted therapy story!

Fatal disease ➡️ patient samples ➡️ deep proteomics ➡️ find target (jak/stat) ➡️ realize drugs exist ➡️ try drugs in lab ➡️ it works! ➡️ give drugs to patients ➡️ holy cow it actually works!!!! ➡️ save lives.
