It was a bit of work, but I was successful in matching the image I had dreamed of. Like RINGKING's throw attack, there is a chance for MEGASTAR to increase the Super gauge. If there are stars, ๐Ÿš€fly into them, while the opponent is being held !

I'm aiming to start most days off with a 30 min session on a side project or idea.

Day 01, I experimented with Normal maps based on Baked Vertex color/Lighting. It currently only a top light/Shadow but it's a neat look and I want to expand this further.

That, of course, has nothing to do with Virtua Fighter.

Well, except for the lovely beach under the beautiful SEGA-blue skies.
Akira Yuki, the Ryu to Jacky Bryant's Ken, just kicked his opponent so hard he made Jacky fly up in the air as he's looking at the camera in a very "well, that's me... you're probably wondering how I got here" moment.

Yes it's a lot better.

But imo, for what you got, a 3 points falloff by character, for like 4-8 could be ''good enough'' without breaking anything. Really depends on what you're planning for your project.

I still admit the computer shader way is cleaner, looking better and more robust. ๐Ÿ˜…
