My QA team only cares if the app passes all tests. If its not accurate it is corrected in English. Its just another programming language.

Is there any clarification about what Codex Cloud is running on? Is it still running on Codex-1 or GPT5. Has the context window changed?

No mention of Codex Cloud at all in the GPT5 release, but many mentions of Cursor. 🤔

I am still unable to find any new info on Codex Cloud regarding which LLM is being used or context window size since the GPT5 release. Cursor cursor cursor (jan.gif)

#OpenAI did not mention #CodexCloud in their GPT5 launch today. Cursor was front and center and they mentioned #CodexCLI. There was no mention of a GPT5 model replacing codex-1 for Codex Cloud.

Is Codex cloud on the chopping block after a few months?

When I read comments on Reddit from developers about AI, it is almost always slightly negative to very negative. They at most tend to think its helpful in saving some typing by autocompleting functions for them, or fixing a small bug, maybe a small enhancement.

He gave me a book Artificial Neural Networks in C++, then he moved to California. I have been watching the AI space since then, patiently waiting for what we are seeing today. ✌️

I jammed with a keyboard player that was a C++ programmer during the day. We were talking about the stuff he was working on and showed me a couple basic things that I had no problem understanding and he said you can easily be a programmer. It was mid 90's so I was able to sneak in pretty easily.

Two days later the tasks mysteriously changed their status to Merged.

I have 162 tasks in this #Codex environment. Did I hit some sort of threshold?

My last 3 #Codex tasks are sitting at open even though all 3 have been merged. I have refreshed the page and waited 15 minutes but the status has not changed. I went into all 3 to double verify and sure enough, all merged in #Github. Has anyone run into this before?

Not helpful #OpenAI #Codex. For context I gave it an example report and all of the access code needed to create the report. Disappointing, but I WILL get it to produce the report. It already has generated it but formatting and some data needs to be modified.

Recreating existing PDF reports in #OpenAI #CodexCloud is not nearly as fun as creating the apps that generate the reports.

The report end users are very particular and not fans of change so it must look exactly like the original report which was generated by an Access DB app.
