I really have little respect for her as a politician and human, but what little I do acknowledges that when a politician has been calling for others to resign for their reasons, as MTG does, it is commendable that she looked at herself and decided to walk the walk she talks. On scalping, it feels criminal. Ticket prices determined by some market demand is obscene. "Hot Tickets" are only an opportunity for those who exploit human vulnerability for profit. It's immoral. Theater is the opposite. Criminalizing ticket reselling would be a blow to capitalism but good.

Theater is expensive. That is a sign to me that something's rotten. If at my age ticket prices feel prohibitive, those just starting out likely go broke buying them. The people demand theater. Know it or not they need it. It is not a luxury nor elite. Theater is for people. We must subsidize it.
