Charlie Kirk spent his life‘s work and all of his energy and time targeting out-groups while arguing for a world in which gun massacres would be easy to enact, plentiful, and inevitable, and he became famous and wealthy doing it, and we’re now not supposed to mention that because it’s not polite.

My sister, a kindergarten teacher, had to sit down and walk 18 5-year-olds through a shooter lockdown drill today & is currently navigating the emotional weight of that, but, sure, let's scold people for not mourning the loss of a guy who publicly said their deaths would be an ok trade for his guns.

That's why Donloe thanks him for getting him fired, Phelps forgives him for murdering his dad. Even the wrongs Cruise/Hunt does someone are for their benefit on a long enough timeline.

My theory about The Final Reckoning is, where Maverick and the last 2 Mission: Impossibles were about how Tom Cruise must save movies, this one is about how he should be forgiven for what he did in the process, be it abandoning his daughter or being part of an evil cult.

I'm genuinely sorry we talked about money yesterday.

The new Mission: Impossible was awesome, but also very funny that so much of the story hinged on one of the ones I told my girlfriend she could skip before seeing because it wasn't all that important.
