1. Things have changed.
2. It's not the Green's fault that Starmer has the Merdas Touch (turns everything to shit)
3. When the Greens offer the only inspiring option, perhaps we should see the Labour candidate as splitting the vote.

"Another discredited Conservative has landed on the shores of Reform UK. Nadhim Zahawi is the chancellor turned chancer – trying his luck with Nigel Farage’s outfit having completely discredited himself in the Conservative party. "Is this the same Mr Zahawi that said of Nigel Farage, your comments are offensive and racist and I would be frightened to live in a country run by you? Indeed, it would appear it is."

Nothing remotely opportunistic or hypocritical to see here.

Of course Maduro's repressive regime must be held accountable - but the US's unilateral attack on Venezuela is not about democracy. It is about oil imperialism.

The UK must stop pandering to Donald Trump and roundly condemn the illegal action taken by the US.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Whatever you might think of Maduro, the seizure and kidnapping of a head of state takes us to a very dark place. Vast, arbitrary, extra-legal power, which could be exercised almost anywhere, regardless of the character of the target government.
