Trump is starting the dehumanization process to get the military ready to fire on US citizens on US soil. To get the military to that point, they must see fellow Americans as enemies and less than human.

In the last 20 or so minutes I’ve seen LAPD officers shove women to the ground without provocation, rip a sign out of a man’s hand and then swing a baton into his leg and raise a less-lethal launcher to aim
directly at a protester (which I’m 99% is a major policy violation.)

It's worthwhile to pause for a moment and think about what a military operation to establish control over a major American city - let's say Los Angeles - would actually look like. The city of LA, which excludes most of the metro area, has nearly 4 million inhabitants. LA county has 10 million.

1/ DSA stands in solidarity with working-class resistance to the escalating terror and repression at the hands of the Trump deportation machine.

2/ We reject the militarization of Police and ICE and deployments of military forces to quash dissent that place all of our communities in harm's way.

3/ We oppose, and will fight to end the subjection of any working class person, regardless of citizenship status, to police terror.

4/ To the Trump regime we say: An injury to one is an injury to all! ¡Chinga la migra! Fuck ICE!

Now we stand together and prove that there are more of us than there are of them, and that we are not afraid!
