Cromulent, but not perfectly so. Music. Books, comic and otherwise. FF and especially FFXIV.
Pretty sure Drake's last name is Streisand...
28.11.2024 00:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The back and forth dynamic is so much fun to watch and feels organic. The only time Aymeric doesn't have to be in charge is when he's alone with Lume and you can feel how badly he needs that.

17.11.2024 05:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I know this is late, but c'mon. Letting HRC advise you on how to win against Trump is like asking asking Albert Lebrun how to stop the Nazi war machine.

14.11.2024 04:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My wife and I unwind to the silliness of Richard Dawson and Brett Somers and try to guess which of the "celebrities" are the most drunk.
It's usually Gene.
Lume is the best, so if you're an artist in this particular niche and you somehow don't know her, here ya go!

I just had James Garner's daughter repost something I'd written that contained the worst typo (your/you're)...I'm thrilled and kind of want to crawl under a rock.

13.11.2024 20:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0An announcement from Court Street Coffee shop in Seguin, Texas, announcing that they will be permanently closed after 23 November, 2024
This breaks my heart. The presence of this friendly little coffee shop that flew the Pride flag 365 days a year was one of the things that persuaded us to move to this small Texas town. I hope they start a new endeavour nearby; these folks are the best.
13.11.2024 19:30 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0(source: www.investopedia.com/us-inflation...)
* There seem to be pretty obvious macro trends that persist across administration.
* Reagan's "high" average rate was a huge drop from the Carter peak which surely helped him.
* Trump's net loss of jobs overshadowed inflation.
...maybe that would change it, but I doubt it would change much. Anyway, presidents and avg. inflation rates:
Eisenhower 1.4%
JFK 1.1%
LBJ 2.6%
Nixon 5.7%
Ford 8%
Carter 9.9%
Reagan 4.6%
HW Bush 4.3%
Clinton 2.6%
W Bush 2.8%
Obama 1.4%
Trump 1.9%
Biden/Harris 5.2%
...
...well, Kennedy wasn't, but only a cad would include him. My gut sense is that current economic conditions lead to punishing the current admin (I'm counting Harris w/Biden because she inherited his baggage).
Now, my lazy look at the #s isn't breaking things out by 4 year term.
...
I won't pretend this is analysis, it's just interesting information. Of the last 13 Presidents, 6 had average inflation rates over 4%. 7 had average rates under 3%.
2 of the 6 with high inflation were re-elected (Reagan and Nixon). Of the 7 with low inflation, only Trump wasn't re-elected.
...
