Isn’t that just a machine translation? I wouldn’t hold too much stake in it. Seems unlikely they’d announce no more maps or weapons that way

I could definitely be off the mark or biased but that’s what I currently think.

Like how do you determine what’s acceptable or not? And aren’t people allowed to vent that they’re upset at something? Idk. I just feel like the community has a dog piling issue, that has led to people getting death threats and Splat Safety getting doxxed along with several other harmful actions.

Ironically though I don’t really know how we fix this lol. Maybe we need rules or punishments against people in the community that cause issues like this(?) Like I do think that Krissy should not have been around for as long as she was, but of course idk how we punish people for reactionary takes.

and as for splat safety while there is some constructive criticism there’s a LOT of very emotionally charged, vague, and negative statements towards the org that don’t benefit anyone. Criticism is fine, but saying stuff like “Fuck everyone that thought this was okay” just stirs up more hate and…

I think this is why someone like Krissy was such a problem. One tweet accusation from her led to my entire team getting hate by hundreds of people, and others had it worse with death threats and such. Some TOs are discussing how they feel like they get so much vitriol for simple mistakes.

After reading a lot of what the TOs are saying, the discussion around splat safety, and my own personal experience I think we need to recognize that the splatoon community (or at least a vocal portion of it) has a dog pilling issue.

It’s so hype! I’m a little bummed that splat dualies got the best new kit out of the Dualies since it already has suction crab. The new kit has been fun though and hopefully can be picked over vanilla a decent amount of the time. Rip squelchers though 😭

I like how the direct spent 10 minutes on stuff we already knew and 10 seconds on there being hundreds of missions in free roam as well as collectible medallions and ? Panels.

Honestly I’ve been playing a TON of E-Liter recently in Splatoon 3. Definitely now my favorite weapon and my new main!
