Last week I joined a prayer service organized by @newpersonalism.bsky.social outside a DHS facility in Newark.

Our prayers didn’t stop them from killing again, but in the face of so much Catholic collaboration I was glad to be able to join a spiritual struggle to complement the one in the streets.

Anyone who accuses someone of hypocrisy for this is a pure bullshitter. There’s no contradiction between “the laws should be different” and “you shouldn’t be punished for doing something legal.” A free people is governed by laws, not by your idea of what laws should be.
