Thanks! I used to think I wanted to write for all sorts of franchises. But no. It’s just Doctor Who. To go from reviewing Doctor Who comics for a fan site, to writing spinoff material. That’s the dream.

But the back of my head said, “What is it then?”

I still don’t have an answer.

Even if I have to get a job writing Doctor Who comics, or audio dramas, or novels (preferably novelizations), to do it — I will meet a f*cking Doctor if it’s the last thing I do!

I had front row center tickets to see his Running With Scissors tour. My friend and I were planning on bringing a sign that read, “I Farted.” Because we were 14 and thought it would make him laugh.

But he canceled.

Poor guy.

He never got to see our very clever and funny sign.

If I had a penny for every time I thought that. I’d have a big room room full of pennies.

But I agree with the other commenter. The writing of it may not work now. But there’s always tomorrow. And the next day. Eventually, the writing and idea will coalesce.

I don’t know who all will be there. But tell any Doctors you meet that Mark Guyer is on his way.

It’s fun. I came across a story that began with a man meeting a bearded woman with eleven fingers in a pub that shouldn’t exist.

There’s a line about the woman stroking her “beautiful beard with a superfluous digit.”

I remember the idea for the story but had no recollection of this scene.
