Wow. Sorry for getting so dark! I hope I’m wrong. I NEED to be wrong. But I’m not so sure that I am. I’m wrong about most things though. So, the fuck do I know?

Too many of us will want to return to normal instead of taking the opportunity to clear out the rot at the heart of our dying system. Then, just when we think we’re stable again, an authoritarian who knows how to keep his fucking mouth shut will step in and fuck it all up for good.

Millions of people were gaslit into believing that the Civil War was about Sate Rights. January 6th is little more than a punchline now. My fear is that we will all be so traumatized by what’s happening that we won’t want to go after the turd Reich.

I hope so. I really do. But Americans have short memories. Brush something under the rug fast enough, and they’ll forget. We have Nazis kidnapping people in broad daylight and people are still arguing if it’s fascist or not.

I’ve been thinking a lot about otherness in horror. I think we need more horror from the other’s perspective, to look at the rest of society with uncertainty and fear. It feels more honest. So, while the timing of such a topic may raise an eyebrow, the theme should definitely be explored.

I’m so happy that Peacemaker wasn’t about a multiversal war. It wasn’t about stopping Armageddon. It was about 2 shattered people accepting that they are worthy of love. That’s good shit.

Since the world is terrible, just a small, nice reminder we do live in the future and sometimes it's cool, check out this little retro CRT style TV handheld video game console a listener hooked me up with. It has EVERY game ever on it. NES, Sega, SNES, Atari, N64, Dreamcast, Playstation etc

ADHD is off the charts today. Can't focus on anything for more than a minute without getting distracted. Very annoying. Especially when you're so behind on your books.
