The Dalek creature opting to put that poor boy in its casing instead of just taking it back and killing everyone itself, purely because it would torment everyone more, was a nicely written example of the sadism the Daleks so obviously have but rarely show. Great story!

I greatly enjoyed this season of Traitors! Seeing Stephen and Rachel's pact last right to the end, in spite of many opportunities for them to vote each other out, and resulting in their mutual win was very satisfying. #TheTraitorsUK

The only way you'd get a gap like that is if factors around production require it (like availability, strikes, time consuming filming or rewrites/reshoots). Which could actually be for Doctor Who anyway.

I think there might be some real consequences of asking for a "rest" for the show. I don't think programmes really get rested in that sense. Either there are plans moving forward, or there are no plans moving forward. It's not like the BBC will sit and say "Hmmm, why don't we give it five years?"

It's very disappointing to see the amount of people treating Big Finish as some sort of global mega company. Even though they've been around for over 20 years, they are still small and things like piracy affect them. There are always tons of sales to make them more affordable anyway.
