My 1st attempt at comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon.
I may try again in a couple of weeks as it gets closer but I wanted to take advantage of the clear sky this morning.
Here is 81 x 1 minute exposures stacked

2200ish light years away in the constellation Cygnus. The often overlooked Sh2-119, better known as the Clamshell Nebula. Here's the best 140 five minute exposures stacked for a total of more than 11.5hrs taken over 3 nights.

Thank you, but 4 1/2 hours is pretty short for astrophotography. Most of my projects are 10 to 20 hours and continually growing

Here's 4 and a half hours worth of images on the Crescent Nebula. If the skies clear again soon, I'll add some more time to help bring out the blue of the OIII. #astrophotography #science #photography #astro #astronomy #space #nebula

M51, the Whirlpool Galaxy. 23 million light years away and almost 79,000 light years across in the constellation Canes Venatici.

Best 6 hours worth of images taken over two nights.

Thank you, I will be reposting it later. I just need to come up with something to write. I genuinely appreciate your input I just don't like leaving a post that might be incorrect. Even if it was in an attempt at humor. I am fascinated by space and physics I wish I had a better understanding.

You are clearly more knowledgeable than me, I'm just a photographer. I just assumed the gravitational forces would be too great. But yes I have heard that collisions are rare when galaxy's merge

IC 443 also known as the Jellyfish Nebula is a supernova remnant located 5000 light years from earth in the constellation Gemini.

Combined 7 hours from last year with an additional 6.5 I took in February

They're all spam bots. I've given up on IG. I only go on if I got a reaction to something I posted. I reported a fake account in my name and the didn't remove it because the found nothing wrong with it

It is. I didn't realize how big it was till I put it into the telescopius app and saw that it filed the entire camera frame

3h 40min worth of the Seagull Nebula taken over 3 nights.

3650 light years away and 100 light years across on the edge of the constellation Monoceros the Seagull Nebula has an apparent size equal to 7 full moons.
