While party makeup has always played some part of trrpg's, they've done a great job of minimizing the need for a primary healer. One or two not full focus healers can do just fine, but the Conduit can be combat changing at a very different level.

Oh noooooo. That's way worse! Don't need a conduit, but you gotta have someone who can toss out heals so everyone's not wasting maneuvers on catch breath.

I'm playing an Insurgent Tactician that's a custom ancestry called a Leonid. Big lion dude with a mix of other ancestry traits, but primarily Hakaan. Just hit level 4.
I've also played a Human Conduit and briefly a Memonek Fury with my favorite name: Count Graves.

I've been playing in games since the first backer packet and it's been incredible watching the rules evolve and tighten up. I'm now running it as well and look forward to seeing all the additional materials MCDM and everyone else is going to put out for this game.

Oh I definitely don't want to deal with people. Still it's a better option than my neighborhood hiring a 3rd party company, paying way more annually, AND having a worse experience because of it. It's amazing what common sense in a leadership position can do honestly.

My fix for that concern was to become the president of the HOA.

Highly dependent on the HOA, size of the neighborhood, actual neighbors, and a handful of other things.
My annual HOA costs are $65, people are respectful about it, and we have a small neighborhood so only 25ish houses. I've seen some HOA's that have insane monthly costs for little return value.
