Several of my sources say they will never go back to the federal government -- at least, not under this admin -- after being terminated for no reason. Other sources still in the admin are thinking daily about leaving because morale is so low.

The Texas Floods Were Made Worse by Climate Denialism
Elected officials must be held accountable, now and in the future, for the lives lost in disasters brought on by increasingly extreme weather.
BLOOMBERG: ".. Not every life can be spared from climate change, unfortunately, but many more could be saved if elected officials stopped pretending that theyβre powerless to do anything about it."

Black womenβs unemployment is rising. Economists say itβs a warning sign.
New data released Thursday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics marked the third straight month of high unemployment rates for Black women.
Good morning, it's Jobs Day. Reports today will likely focus on the modest job growth we saw in June and a fairly low unemployment rate.
But I want to once again *turn your attention to Black women,* where the story is very different.

NSF, NASA and NIH budgets per year, inflation adjusted from 2000-2025 along with the proposed cuts. NSF includes research component only. Massive cuts across all sectors, well below support spanning 25 years.
How bad will it be? Catastrophic.
Proposed cuts to #NSF, #NIH, and #NASA will set the US R&D landscape back 25 yrs+, cause economic and job loss now, and undermine innovations to come.
But, this is the WH's *proposed* budget.
Speak up now before it is too late.

The House just passed a version of their budget that contains even more draconian cuts to health care than previous versions.
The cuts to Medicaid and the ACA will now be well over $1 trillion, the bill still triggers $500 billion in Medicare cuts, and likely kicks 10-12 million off insurance.
