AoS tonight, my Helsmiths v the Troggherd. The mission was Duality of Death from WD. The Troggs proved unkillable it was a convincing defeat by the end of turn 3.

More for my Cities, Marshal Ashfield and Squire Udo. These are from the Warhammer+ series. The pics make the stripes of the cape look wonky, but i promise they look better in real life!

I realized my original pics were out of focus crap. Here are some better ones.

A friend in college picked up this album from the local new age purveyor in late 1994 and I was hooked; it was so different from the pop music I listened to in high school. Her voice is so haunting and the lyrics still hit hard. And on top of that, good old Sarah got me through my first break up!

There's a lot I would consider contenders for the top of the pile, but this album reshaped my appreciation of music in college.

It's the most current version of Warhammer Quest, and it is really nicely put together. Unlike previous versions, where the boards are built from tiles that can be a PITA to keep together, this version has a book that contains all of the maps printed on double-page spreads.

That it does. Our party had discarded several movement based items in favor of combat items. Turns out those movement boosts come in clutch.

Act 1 had a few tough moments, but also some real walk through scenarios. It gave us a chance to figure out our abilities and get some gear without constantly taking damage. The missions that are players v environment rather then players v monsters seem hardest. You really feel the turn limit.

Last night we played several more sceanrios in Darkwater. We beat Foulhoof to finish Act 1. Then we took on the Labyrinth. The party got swarmed by kelpies and Pox Wretches and failed. Its a very tough scenario!

Thanks! I got them from White Angel Games on MyMiniFactory. They definitely fit in better with The Old World aesthetic better than the Hellsmiths, but $15 for the STL + resin was preferable to $65/box for the plastics, which currently aren't in stock.

This is the first of two reinforced units of Bull Centaurs. I printed these up before the actual kit was available; I will slowly replace these with the GW plastics.

Tonight we played the first 3 scenarios from Darkwater. Its a lot of fun, I highly recommend it. I played the Dwarf, whose ability to move through impassable terrain came in clutch.
