Somewhere inside us, blood
carries the memory of oceans.

Salt, pressure, rhythm, surrender.

There’s a drift of tides beneath
skin. Every breath is a wind over
the ancient sea within.

The door opens onto an entrance hall. The walls are crimson; bordered in gold. At the far end is a white door, leading to a pink sitting room.
Each room is more #pale than the last, leading me on. The last room is glass, overlooking a lake.
I open the final door and water kisses my feet.
