I'm continually disgusted that some call empathy is a sin when Christ literally commanded us to love our neighbor as we would ourselves and even said that our enemies are our neighbor. It's a command that is repeated and reinforced in the Old Testament, Gospels, Psalms, and Epistles.

I'm no lawyer, but it seems like discussing war plans in Signal outside a SCIF is maybe just a little bit worse than using a private server to send emails that weren't even marked as classified. But what do I know.

The morality of the pro-life movement is deeply lacking. It's not even about life, which includes feeding, housing, clothing, and educating. It's about forced birth with no care for the mothers who die in the process. And I suspect it has less to do with life and more to do with control of women.
