Amazingly, they didn't close the sidewalk on the bridge while it was flowing. At least when it started. I was riding my bike on it, and wind took enough water onto the sidewalk to completely blind me for a bit. Quick dismount and major adrenaline rush!

I had Levi's jeans in my 20s that I had for 10 years. I wore them cutting trails through thick forest. I maybe wore through a back pocket because I would hold shears there.

Now, working a desk job, I've had multiple pairs of Levi's tear mid thigh within a year.

To extend the life (dramatically), I suggest looking into either buying and installing an electric anode, or making sure you periodically inspect your existing one -mainly just so it doesn't weld itself closed with rust.
