I typed out the sentence "Jane Goodall was the best of us" at least 40 times over the last 24 hours. It brought up some thoughts on who deserves that designation. Right alongside the late Fred Rogers, what I knew without having to think about it was that Levar Burton is the best of us.

You're my favorite billionaire. In fairness, because I mostly hate them, but also keep up the good work, sir. You've been one of the best messengers our side has had of late.

This man (and/or his team) is conspicuously REALLY good at this. Anyone in Dem leadership who hasn't both fervently endorsed him AND taken copious notes is so clearly miles off base. (Jeffries and Schumer especially).

Judge Young was the hero of the day for this opinion yesterday. Today's is, of course, the late, great Jane Goodall. There are always helpers to look for when everything feels bleak.

Let's boil down the Mikie Sherrill military records episode: She didn't walk w her Naval Academy graduation class bc she didn't rat out classmates who cheated. Then she served honorably for 10 years. Ciattarelli is a pro-Trump hack whose campaign leaked her illegally obtained records. That's it.

We need leaders with firmly held principles, not talking points, not consultants, and not policy-by-polling. The polling was we elected you. Do the job we hired you for.

These are the ones we need to NOT quit. Because they'd only be replaced by those who would blindly follow illegal orders and there's a good chance many of these ones would refuse.

In like one decade, we went from aspiring to be the "leader of the free world" and "championing human rights" to advocating for being more like... [checks notes]... China. This might not actually be a good thing.

Hero of the day right there. I don't often read 161-page judicial opinions (I'm not ashamed to admit that I skimmed over some of the more administrative stuff) but this was absolute fire.

Just for Men Control GX (gradual, gray-reducing beard wash) works pretty well if you're into that sort of thing.
