This sounds like a fantastic opportunity - if I wasn't sitting the darn SQE exams again this autumn I would definitely apply!

Planned change in British citizenship rules faces first legal challenge Young Afghan refugee brings case after move to prevent those who arrived on β€˜dangerous journey’ from citizenship

The real-life impacts of Government policy can be rapidly and devastatingly felt by migrants and refugees. The recent change to 'Nationality: good character requirement' caseworker guidance is to face its first (of many, I imagine) judicial review.

The MAC is directly contacting Family route migrants to obtain feedback as part of the ongoing Minimum Income Requirement review. My details were passed along to the MAC as I used this personal email address for a further leave to remain application on the Family route in December 2023.

Scottish Government calls for changes to Westminster visa rules Scotland’s equalities minister has called on the UK Government to change family visa rules to allow couples to be reunited in the country

Grateful to Scotland’s Equalities Minister @kaukabstewart.bsky.social for calling on the UK Government to change the family visa rules.
A better family migration system would indeed support the well-being of couples and families in Scotland and across the UK.

Mind you, this has come about as a result of contacting the resolution team numerous times, being told conflicting advice from them about what to do to correct the status, etc and then finally submitting an error report when the service was opened.

In the ongoing, frustrating saga of correcting the immigration status on my #eVisa (from Dependant, I'm on the Family route), the Home Office has advised that I not make travel arrangements until this is fixed. Thankfully, I'm not going anywhere for Christmas!
