Poorly. We survive poorly. Although a cup of tea can help a little.

My mom’s small town was lamenting the lack of trick or treaters. This is the same community that had a fit over 14 year olds playing basketball on the public courts. They also got upset over education funding and got upset young families are moving into town. Yes the whole town has brain worms.

This is the downside to online games. A good snack spread can just MAKE a game night. That looks amazing.

My Swedish great great grandfather changed the family name BEFORE boarding the boat to come here. No idea why. He made it more difficult to spell or pronounce. Proves my need to make things more difficult is likely genetic.

Sometimes you just need to be a very dumb chicken who helps saves the world by eating things you shouldn’t. This Halloween seems like the perfect time for that.

Did I just buy tickets to a concert next year in LA? Yes. Do I live on the opposite coast? Also yes. Do I have any semblance of a plan for this? Not at all. Follow me for more incredibly stupid ideas.

I have had Afghan food exactly once over a decade ago. It still lives in my memory as one of my favorite dinners. Basically impossible to find near where I live now and it breaks my heart. Absolutely delicious food. I’m jealous.

My favorite is a quick stir fry. Let the rice cooker do its thing while I fling some beyond beef tips and bell peppers in a pan. Coat generously with some kind of sauce. My choice is Japanese bbq sauce. Actual work involved takes maybe 10 minutes. Tastes like I know what I’m doing.

I didn’t know I needed something so badly.

I have a local thrift store begging for plus size clothes. They will give you extra store credit if you sell them any. The incentive still has them trying everything to keep a steady plus size stock.

I second Finch. Having a little pink bird telling me I’m doing my best really does help. Keeps me from getting to in my head about things.

I got my desk from Home Depot. Not sure about their chair options if you are looking to get both from the same place.

I used to call my upstairs neighbor the hippopotamus because of how much they stomped around all the time.

The cable technician that came by yesterday to get my internet working thanked me for being pleasant because all his other visits were mean. It’s not hard to be nice to people. Especially those doing something to help you.

I’m in Connecticut and I’d be interested in being Canadian. We already understand the importance of maple syrup.

When all else fails stuff cheese in bread. It heals the soul.

Am I part of the collusion if I don’t drive and therefore not buying any car? If I was in the market I’d boycott Tesla.

It’s Fallout 4 and there’s a fun quest in that ship where you can get a modified cannon as a weapon.

This is why Reese’s are perfect. Sweet chocolate and salty peanut butter all at once. Efficient snacking.
