The Trump Regime is currently stripping the Department of Education for parts, starting with the most vulnerable children in our country.

Public education will be thrown into complete chaos. The most vulnerable will suffer the most.

Which is of course, also their intended results.

Maximizing suffering is their plan. Dismantling and privatizing education is their goal. It's been happening for decades; this is a huge excelleration.

Without Federal Oversight, IDEA protections will begin to be eroded on a State by State basis. Blue states will also feel the pain as we have no idea what cutting the Department of Education, cuts to IDEA and Title departments will affect future funding and services.

Laws that are not enforced or properly implemented are rendered impotent without ever needing to change the law. This is of course, their intent. They couldn't repeal IDEA without huge backlash, instead they plan to make it toothless and strip Special Education for copper.

While IDEA is STILL the law of the land, firing all Federal workers who are tasked to uphold, implement, and oversee its effectiveness would almost completely undermine and hobble the protections that it affords!

IDEA is the most fundamental federal protection for children with disabilities. It is what IEP's fall under. It is how we guarantee that ALL children are afforded an education.
