Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

We’ve known for years that Long Covid often causes Dysautonomia/POTS.

There’s been such a significant increase in patients that there aren’t enough doctors to treat them.

Many have lost everything to the condition and are now fully disabled.

It's so fucking depressing how people just gave up on covid. Millions died, millions more have long term health issues, it's still spreading and everyone, even progressives just ignore it. Call me a dead ender but seeing the willful ignorance as people keep dying left me hopeless.

I am incredibly, incredibly lucky to have the kind of Long Covid doctor who is happy to discuss new papers with me, and will consider new treatments based on case study reports if they seem like a decent fit for my symptoms. But I mostly hear about those new trials/papers from other patients first!

HA = hemagglutinin, the influenza H1N1 surface protein approximately equivalent to the sars-cov2 spike protein.

Bottom line: Covid is a multi-system disease not only a respiratory disease. That's why Long COVID can be so varied causing at least 200 possible symptoms.

Every time you get COVID, you run the risk of developing Long COVID. It isn't a binary condition, it is multi-systemic injury. That happens every time you catch it to some degree.

We don't know why it cripples some people, only that it does. Vaccines help prevent Long COVID, but not nearly as much as repeat infections increase the risk of it.

There is no cure for Long COVID.

COVID is not a respiratory illness. It's an immune-evasive-&-corrupting multi-systemic disease that slips past the blood-brain barrier & dysregulates cellular function. Pass it on.

(And you do—unless you ventilate & wear fitted N95 respirators, which >90% of you don't. Good luck with that)
