This is it. Some parts are so
intact, so “immaculately maintained” that it makes the missing pieces all the more obvious.

But the part that really brings this piece home for me is the focus on the unfiled gears.

The elevation of pop culture to political prominence is a way to mask that none of these people understand how anything actually works so they argue about halftime shows.

I’ve been trying to supply a pithy reply to this thread all day but every attempt just ends up with me angrily pointing out that these people have to do this because they’re wholly unqualified to comment on anything else.
