Sally Ride’s 1977 letter to NASA fits in a single skeet:

"To whom it may concern,
I am a PhD candidate in astrophysics at Stanford University, and am interested in the space shuttle program. Please send me the forms necessary to apply as a 'mission specialist' candidate."

Thank you,
Sally Ride”

For now I'll mostly be posting news from outer space.
Today: astronauts Sergey Prokop'ev and Dmitriy Petelin carried out spacewalk VKD-58 from the ISS Poisk airlock, deploying the Nauka module's new radiator and filling it up with coolant.

More details on today's VKD-58 spacewalk:
The RTOd radiator panel for Nauka was launched in 2010 along with the Rassvet module. Long delays to the launch of the Nauka module followed, and RTOd was finally attached to Nauka during spacewalk VKD-56a on Apr 19. Today's spacewalk was to activate it.

ANALOG: A Documentary of the ARG-1M Analog Mars Mission
ANALOG is a documentary following crew ARG-1M at the Mars Desert Research Station as they simulate a 2-week mission to Mars. The crew consists of students and faculty of the American Public University System in the Space Studies program that are a part of the APUS Analog Research Group (AARG). They conduct research in analog habitats to further the goals and progress of human space exploration to the Moon and Mars. But this endeavor needs more than rocket scientists and astronomers. Mars needs masters of business, communications, arts, accounting, janitorial services and hot dogs stands! If you've got an idea, than consider pursuing a B.S. or M.S. Space Studies at APUS. Learn more at https://www.apu.apus.edu/academic/schools/science-technology-engineering-and-math/masters/space-studies.html This documentary was produced by Tony DiBernardo.
