Y-san texted me Tatsuya Nakadai has died. This makes me sad. One Summer all I watched were his movies - I was obsessed! What a filmography! I’ve done *a lot* of weeding in my lifetime so I guess I’m lucky it never went like it did in THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN! Had one ex-friend tell people there was something psychologically wrong with me for weeding her. I’m a believer in appreciating relationships but also moving on with no regrets.

I was MAD because Roman (he was just my mechanic; we weren’t dating yet) told me my battery would last a month & it died 5 days later! So he said the same thing to me on Monday & I said, order me a battery, man!! 😂 (He’s putting it in this weekend. 🙌🏻)

Good thing I got my snow tires on Monday night! (2-10cm of snow tonight - I’M NOT READY!) But I need a new battery. Mine lasted 8 years (unbelievable!). That time, Dad was alive & I’d taken him to the Ophthalmologist & back home. While I was mailing a letter, my car died in front of the mailbox.

This post of Andrew Wyeth’s Christina’s World by @weinberg.social reminded me that I saw Gordon Wesley Rayner, Sr.’s Tally-Ho & its description said it seems to be similar in composition, which was cool to me! Wyeth was one of my late Dad’s fave artists & he loved Christina’s World especially.

I recently saw this painting by the Canadian artist, Gordon Wesley Rayner, Sr. called Tally-Ho and its description says it seems to be similar in composition, which was cool to me! Andrew Wyeth was one of my late Dad’s fave artists & he loved Christina’s World especially.

It *is* shameful & so very stupid that this is happening. Imagine having the means & being privileged enough to have access to a Measles vaccine but you say, no thanks, I’ll pass?! I recall the same happened w/ COVID vaccines in the US while 3rd World countries were literally dying without access.

Yes, slow down & take care of yourself. Now that the doctors know what you are dealing with, they will figure out a plan & you *will* get better. Sending healing vibes your way.

There were about 36 kids at Mom’s, which wasn’t too bad. We thought it might have been low because of the World Series? I didn’t have a costume but I wore orange jeans & a black top. 🎃 The cutest costume was a boy as a dinosaur - it was a blow up dinosaur.

A sort of happy face carved pumpkin on an upside down gray planter and a ghost carved pumpkin on the ground beside it on an entrance patio.

My Mom heard about a free pumpkin giveaway two Saturdays ago and when we were at the end-of-Season Farmers Market, she walked to the park TWICE to get TWO free pumpkins! I was shocked when I got home! 😂 She carried them by herself. Can you believe it!? So here they are carved from last night!

I brought this DVD to my Mom’s along with PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES because I feel like doing a John Hughes double bill.
