Extinction is FOREVER.
Splicing ghost genes into other species doesn't change that.
Just making lonely mutants.

Every high school biology teacher should read Explaining Life Through Evolution by @prosanta.bsky.social Not only will they get a solid understanding of evolution but they will gain a better understanding of how to teach it to kids or even other adults. Well done!
