I’m probably still gonna punt on Guiu as he enables a lot elsewhere in team. Might shift BB to 2 or 3 rather than GW1 if it’s looking like he’ll get more minutes

Considered Tosin or Chalobah for about 2.61 seconds then remembered it’s Chelsea so they’ll spunk £80M on Guehi or Pacho despite Fofana returning in 5 weeks

Chelsea put a similar clause in Broja’s loan contract at Fulham—£4m fee if he did not play in 60% of games (apps, not starts). And Fulham didn’t give a single fuck about it 😂

I believe after each deadline it will load in any changes to your team from your team ID.

You’ll still have to use official FPL app/site for making the actual transfers. Last year I just used website from my phone — found this much better than the shitty app

I’ve considered going triple Forest–probably would be Anderson + two of Murillo, Milenkovic and Sels.

WOL + MUN also have bad GW4 fixtures, so FH4 works nicely with Strand-Larsen or Bruno too

I think perceived risk with AWB is Kyle Walker-Peters taking minutes from him. And people shifting to CBs rather than FBs

Although AWB is clearly the better player, KWP could occasionally start or sub on towards the end of games (which is actually good for AWB clean sheet %)

I'm looking at wildcarding in GW13 to bring in Haaland. Although this means I can't TC vs Leeds in 13. So I'll probably use it on one of these:
GW14 vs Sunderland - Salah
GW15 vs Leeds - Haaland
GW15 vs Burnley - Isak

I'd say Eze is a little better value for money but Wirtz is the better player. Eze's goal share will be higher though, so I guess it's a question of how much will Wirtz be involved in Liverpool's attack 🤔

Petrovic could be decent. Pair him with Darlow (4.0) who you could play vs Everton GW1 when Bournemouth have Liverpool, then roll with Petrovic from there.

When BOU fixtures get tougher GW8-11, Leeds have a nicer run (Leeds top, BOU bottom)

Adams is not yet back for preseason—he played the gold cup final 3 weeks ago. Last night vs Everton they didn’t have any traditional midfielders starting. So if Christie isn’t fit, they’d have to start the season with Alex Scott, Billing, or a winger at CM (probably Tavernier)

This fan forum seems to have reached a consensus that Christie is not fit yet but Christie/Cook is their best midfield, Christie/Adams will play vs the top sides.

Cook did his MCL last week so they’re thin in the midfield. If Christie plays the final 1-2 preseason games he’ll start the season imo

Interesting to see Heaven starting in a strong United lineup. I pulled up a dodgy stream to check whether he’s actually playing wingback or it’s a Fotmob error—he’s playing LCB with Dorgu at LWB.

Still, could be a decent option at 4.0 with L.Martinez out til January #FPL

He’s not playing as a static 9, he’s drifting around a lot just as he did at Leverkusen. Interesting to see how he fits into this team when you add a traditional striker. I don’t think Isak or Ekitike will be asked to play the same role as Wirtz is playing today.

Looks exciting, unfortunately can’t watch due to timezone. Would love to wake up to see Tielemans pen + 12 ball recoveries + an assist to Watkins 🙏

Wirtz is looking good in the 1st half, playing CF but often drifting out to the left to receive the ball. Taking corners too!

I think another factor is by the time he was fit enough to play 90, Moyes had brought them to safety so it wasn’t worth the risk of aggravating his knee injury.

He’s also their best set piece taker by a mile so that plays in his favour too:

Can’t say he’s definitely starting but I’d be surprised if not. Alcaraz joined on loan in Jan to allow McNeil time to recover from knee surgery. Alcaraz has now signed for £12m but both can play LW or 10.
