We knew it was gonna be hard going in - books are published at an alarmingly fast rate and we're competing with not just books but movies, tv, games, streaming etc for diminishing attention spans. It's just the reality of publishing atm.

I average 2-3 in a normal week, depending on if I'm reading 700 page books and whether I'm getting enough sleep. 😹😹

Would it be wrong/weird to celebrate Liminal's release with like... twinkies or something instead of a cake since we're all remote and admin is on a diet and therefore cannot eat a whole cake? Or birthday cake Oreos?

The descriptions are thoroughly detailed and disturbing in the best way! I adore how the scenes are laid out to where you can visualize them in your mind. The story telling is fun, and the way Neil goes about things makes me want to throw him, but at the same time give him a warm hug because holy heck do things amp up. This is definitely a book to enjoy reading with a cozy blanket for the fall season.
