But if I pay a min $5/mo per substackesque subscription or podcast, I can get 5 to 8 voices for $25 to $40 /mo. While a magazine or newspaper, in the old days anyway, curated that variety and offered even more voices. It was a good value as long as there were pubs with ethical, pro leadershop. 2/4

Already had near panic attack yesterday after reading about worldwide widening violence and financial ruin. Today got first stop work order on a federal grant. I have GOT to unplug for a few hours. My head and heart are too done-in.

Thank you for saying this, as I had the same thought. I definitely intuited this as a child and was lucky that nobody coerced me into stopping, ever. Maybe because my parents left me to come up with my own cosmology or whatever. I think all my wildlife biologist colleagues agree.

I always recommend people look into a custom dress designed in partnership with a talented seamstress. You can get more for your money, I think. Lots of time in fittings, but how fun when it's a good friend!

Beautiful! The video reminds me of getting the process of my custom-made dress: Going in for the muslin fittings (a dress made of cheaper material that provides the pattern for the real dress), getting the fishtail train perfectly draped.
