The kids actually made animals that don't exist. The AI just put a bunch of stuff that already exists together into a polished slop blender. You can't get a better illustration of why AI can't create anything new while human creativity is bottomless.

AI is the wealthys tool to access skill while denying Skilled People the access to wealth.

Yeah, the shittification of Deviantart started some time ago and is hitting peak soon, I guess ...

Because that means more members, means more "art", means more traffic on your site which means more money.
It's the same reason why Amazon is enabling cheap AI books in their store. They got their fair share and there is no thing as honor, if money is involved ...

Indeed. I've started there roughtly 20 years ago so ... I've been there for it's ups and downs.
But since the launch of dream up and rarely posted a thing necauee it suddenly felt off and wrong.

#Deviantart is bragging about their growth because of AI. Also comparing AI Art with the rise of digital art.
I've been there when digital art was mocked for "not being real". That was different, trust me.

Maybe it's time for me to delete my Deviantart Account for good.

I pointed it out and they still sell it, yeah. So, I'll carry my money to the other book store from now on ...

Because it's cheap I suppose, or maybe it's selfpublish which is a WHOLE other problematic topic. (Because illegal rip offs at amazon etc. etc.)
