I tried 1:1 after seeing Alton Brown's rice episode, but it didn't work for me. Not sure why, maybe my cooker leaks too much steam. I always use rinsed basmati or jasmine, and sauté it in butter for a minute before adding the water and closing the lid.

Yes! Rice, 4 minutes at pressure followed by natural release. Water to rice ratio 3:2, plus a generous 4-finger pinch of salt

This is my method and it works great... But I love using the pressure cooker and I'm looking forward to trying it on eggs. I'll have to fashion a steam basket, mine didn't come with one.
