Trump previously signed an Executive Order banning TikTok, worried it would ruin his reelection chances.
If he "saves" it, he will have simply undone what he originally did—keeping his pattern of creating a non-existent threat, creating an unnecessary emergency, and then taking credit for fixing it.

Not to mention the fact that TikTok servers were always housed on US soil. Mainframe servers are in TX. This has all been one grand manipulation for the rich to keep getting richer while stifling our ability to communicate w each other

The idea that a president can issue an executive order that overrides Congress, while it may be appealing to everyone who wants TikTok back and agrees that the TikTok ban is a first amendment violation, is actually illegal dictator shit

The effort to ban TikTok was started by Trump in 2020.

If Trump “saves” TikTok, he will just be undoing the problem he created.
