I can’t shake the feeling that the government shutdown is a test run for Republicans. That they want it to be this way permanently going forward, with a Congress in name only with the people left to starve while Trump et al get filthy rich.

It looks like the scene of a disaster, like no controlled demolition I’ve ever seen. Absolutely no care is being taken, it’s just brute destruction.
