This was one of the most popular villains I ever ran in a #D&D campaign. They are an albino mind flayer crime boss in an Eberron setting named Alabaster. My players thought Alabaster is 🥵🥵

It’s DnD day. My players left off following a message and adventuring into a cave system where they stumbled upon humans who are dressing as Gnolls and have been attacking the nearby town…hmmmm…

Yeah. Killing a new player is so edge lord. Some DMs just have a power trip complex.

Yeah. A general “idea” of an over reaching plot and a BIG sandbox for your players is the best way to go.

While I do worry about funding for the show. I’m kind of glad Disney is (likely) no longer involved due to the CREEPING decision making process they have. Give me low budget Doctor Who if that means faster turn around on new series. The show doesn’t need a huge budget just a huge heart(s).

Did it get more uncertain? We now know there will be a Christmas special in 2026 and a future series after. I’d argue it’s now much more certain than “will Disney pick it back up?”
