CITY COUNCIL MEETING 12/17-12/18
Council is holding its monthly evening meeting this Wednesday, 12/17 (6-9 PM scheduled, we'll finish the in-progress item at 9 so it could go a bit longer), with extra items scheduled for 12/18 (2-5 PM).

Utah has repealed a law that barred public unions from negotiating on behalf of their members.

Republican Gov. Spencer Cox approved the rollback of one of the most anti-union laws in the country after thousands of union members rallied outside his office for a week.

Great article on the Bureau of Labor & Industries and their progress on catching up on wage complaints. We need our enforcers to be resourced enough to enforce!

The Oregon Legislature has lost another tremendous advocate, in Rep. Hóa Nguyên, D-48 (SE Portland, Damascus, and Boring) She died of cancer, surrounded by family. On behalf of our driver community, our condolences & hearts are with you and yours. Thanks for fighting with us. Ciao chi.
