Should Predator movies be cute? We thought this Predator movie was cute. Not the best Predator movie. Probably not the worst.

2026 Movies 24-47 - MCU (Infinity Saga) movies.

Finished the MCU (Infinity Saga movies) rewatch. Need to decide if I hate myself (vs simple dislike) enough to do everything after. Here's my final ranking.

Some that I remember being stinkers didn't stink so badly... only a couple were truly bad.

But I WANT one simple trick! Everything else seems like a lot of work!

And here's the thing: there is a 0% chance Tony Stark's not in the MCU's Epstein Files. Nothing monstrous, of course, but they're entangled. Stark has absolutely lied to Congress about buying a townhome next to him. They've exchanged emails. He's in group chats he'd prefer never go public.

Rewatching the MCU and: Tony Stark is a menace. He's the worst.

A huge piece of shit for at least part of almost every movie he shows up in. Best case: giant pissbaby. Worst case: pissbaby going to get everyone killed

Also: he's buddies with Larry Ellison and Elon Musk. That's no good!

The tech is trained on stolen intellectual property. The output is riddled with mistakes, and it is incapable of comprehending the weight of its errors. It is not even an “it.” But sometimes, it is filtered and massaged by unaccountable human sweatshop workers and bad actors. I am not required to use “A.I.” any more than I am required to join Amway, buy black market rhino horn, or attend the Fyre Festival. As a human, I have a duty and right to limit my carbon and water footprint and protect my fellow human. As a union worker, I have a duty and right to oppose tech that is used to threaten workers or cheapen our product. As a tech consumer, I have a duty and right to oppose scams that lower the quality of our tools. As a scholar, I have a duty and right to oppose anti-intellectualism. As a taxpayer, I have a duty and right to oppose the misallocation of public funds and data. As a grown up, I have a duty and right to protect young people from predators. As a person with a conscience, I am appalled at the decadent disregard for user safety, the callous dismissal of responsibility for lives ruined and slaughtered. My religion is related to my identity, geography, and family, making it an irrelevant accident of birth. What matters is that I was born. Meta patents AI that takes over a dead person’s account to keep posting and chatting - Dexerto Meta has been granted a patent outlining an AI system capable of simulating a user’s activity on social media to post after their death.

This seems really, really bad to me.

There seems to be a fixation on FB posting for dead people but I’m more troubled by FB posting for inactive people. It’s pathetic and will help lock in the Dead Internet but it also means Zuck’s gonna start putting words in (not-dead) people’s mouths.

I Kickstarted it and it might have been the only KS I've ever backed that delivered _early_.

The starter is an excellent deal, too! Enough models for two people to play, enough terrain for a 2x2 (though we play on a 3x3), rules, cards, etc. Cannot recommend it enough.

Yes! Dead Man's Hand is _excellent_. It's a very good, clean ruleset that's easy to pick up with enough complexity and variance to keep repeated plays interesting. The way it structures scenarios is great because of how they're all 3 linked games that escalate in size.

If you make something popular enough eventually you will die or sell it off and and a person in thick rimmed glasses whose main artistic vision is that he loves to have meetings will take it and sandblast it until it's nothing. I hate to see this happen here but maybe it's good that this happened. Maybe every franchise should collapse into a version of itself that makes shareholders nod and shake each others' hands. We should learn to speak in a language that rich people who don't dream can't comprehend.
