I hear you. I've played & enjoyed all the games, though there are some I love more than others. Ironically, I don't love either of those that much so our Pokémon tastes must be converse haha.

I will say in the case of Arceus, seasonal depression colored my initial experience, which isnt its fault.

I gotcha. So its not so much you played and loved everything between those two, its just that you didnt have high expectations going in anyway, or didnt play them at launch?

If your hangups were performance, turn based gameplay, or recycling the gym formula, I'd say its worth a try. (Unless there's something else you'd rather buy)

If your hangups were bad textures, lots of filler dialogue, or the game being too easy, I'd say this won't change your mind.

Its low-key hilarious the the police officer who thinks you let your Goomy sit on the bench is one of the few trainers in #PokemonLegendsZA that doesn't ask if you're ready before battling. Even the mob boss does. 😂

I know he's based off a falcon, not an eagle. But I couldn't resist naming my Talonflame "Eagly" because I just finished Peacemaker season 2. #PokemonLegendsZA

I really want Hawlucha on my squad but that would require benching both my Talonflame and Heracross to avoid type overlap. I don't know if my heart can take that. #PokémonLegendsZA

I was just dividing the 24 hours estimated on HowLongToBeat by 7 and it was 3.4 hours a day haha.

I've had some megas spoiled for me which is a bummer but like I get it. Comes with the territory. But now people are just casually posting major story spoilers and I'm kind of tilted.

I've made all the way to asphodel with most of my health, 3 death defiances, and a solid build for my most recent #Hades run. Kind of want to grab Skelly's tooth to increase the damage I can take...but I'm really wanting to level up the Evergreen Acorn.

But I don't like being taught very specific tools, being shut down when I try to experiment, then having to guess what specific new way they want you to use Luigi's item once you hit the boss battle, and only the specific new way they've programmed will work. (3 of 3)

If the game encouraged experimentation, and then in the boss battle it was your job to deduce what creative way to get the job done, that would be fine. If it was all very mechanical where you have to solve it using the tools they've taught you that would also be fine. (2 of 3)

I just found it frustrating that the base levels spent the whole time teaching you very specific ways to use the mechanic, then in the boss battles there'd be like one specific way you could creatively use it that was not implied anywhere prior. (1 of 3)

I'm low key considering playing this for the first time for Halloween because its so short but it all depends on of Nikki and I do anything together.

I wasn't the biggest fan of 3 (blasphemy I know) but 6 hours isn't a huge investment.

I really shouldve been grading this morning.

Lot of talk about there being no such thing as an ethical billionaire. So I did some rough calcs. If I accounted for my wife and I's salary + any need we could ever anticipate at extravagant costs + HI's cost of living + CA's taxes...for 105 years...it would add up to a networth of $275,316,219.

I wonder if its too late to try and pick up the saxophone again in my 30's or if my wife would leave me due to the inevitable awful practicing noises.

I am confused.

I think 90% of internet discourse could be solved by people realizing things can be something other than the worst thing ever or the best thing ever.

There's plenty of valid things to criticize about these games, but at the end of the day the good things outweigh the bad for millions of people. You can think a series needs to do better adapting to the modern age, or expand their budget, and still think its the most fun you have playing something.

Idk what to tell you. I just really love Pokémon. People say that automatically equates blind nostalgia, & I used to think maybe they're right. But now I've vastly expanded my gaming tastes, & still nothing hits like it. There are plenty of other loves from adolescence I dropped. #PokémonLegendsZA
