10 years ago I left high school with Cs and Ds on my A-levels, and no expectation to ever go to university.

This year I finished my Ancient History and Archaeology degree with a first!

On this point, production costs for my 24 page solo rpg zine Scribe have genuinely doubled since I started selling it in print in 2021.

The dirty secret of RPG publishing is that books are too cheap. Prices for books haven’t gone up since before Brexit while the costs to make the books have. And by so much it’s not even funny.

Ooh I'll give this a watch! I read Riders of the Dead earlier in the year and it was a bloody good one, loved the way the ambush near the start was described.

Now I'm tempted to do one of these for Xen Yang! He does ticks a lot of the same boxes, plus the demi-godlike offspring who could put his work at risk should they quarrel.

One-page, prehistoric cyberpunk action.
