#STLBlues President of Hockey Operations and GM Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have signed F Nick Bjugstad to a 2y contract worth $3.5M.

Bjugstad, 32, appeared in 66 regular-season games with the Utah Mammoth last season, posting 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) and 16 penalty minutes.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of this trade initially. Watching Bolduc develop was one of the most exciting factors of this past season. I have no doubt he’ll be a menace in Montreal.

I’ll have to see if our new RHD solves some of our problems before totally forming an opinion

6-on-5 was one of the #STLBlues biggest weaknesses all season. I knew WPG would get at least one—but damn it stings that we couldn’t tie it up along the boards just a hair longer.

I’m proud of this team for blasting into the WC spot. What a finish. Absolutely humming for next season already.

Bolduc is new to the NHL playoffs. He’s gonna learn a few hard lessons.

You have to play with emotion - but you also have to be smart. That cross check on Iafallo was straight up not smart.

Gotta make fixes on the fly and be the better behaved team on Monday.
