Labour's Budget is for every street in Britain.
π Cutting energy bills
π Lifting children out of poverty
π Rebuilding public services
While our opponents hide behind cheap, divisive politics, we're getting on with the job: changing Britain.

After today, the child poverty charts I spent 15 years looking at rise under the Conservatives will be coming down. Not in a chart - in Swansea and every other part of the country.
Life is more complicated now. But I'll take that any day.

The two-child cap pushed half of children in larger families into poverty. Today, Labour abolishes it.
I stood for office to stop drawing charts and start changing them. This change will see the biggest drop in child poverty of any parliament on record.
Know what that is? Hope.

Treasury minister leading budget plans spent Β£900 on desk
Torsten Bell, who is working with Rachel Reeves to fill a Β£30 billion hole in finances, also used his parliamentary expenses to claim Β£600 for three chairs
Totally untrue garbage from @thetimes.com & @dailymail.co.uk today - smear dressed up as journalism. Some facts:
- There is no βΒ£900 deskβ
- my constituency office has Ikea desks/chairs
- we significantly underspent the new MPs allowance to set up an office

Respect would mean understanding that rugby matters west of Cardiff, not least in Swansea.
Respect would mean ending the uncertainty facing clubs, fans and players - not setting up years more of it as they have done today.

Rugby is central to our communities, from the professional game right down to the grassroots. It deserves respect from those responsible for overseeing it. The Welsh Rugby Union has fallen well short of showing that respect today.

Wales green energy industry is growing fast. It can add 15,000 jobs over the next 5yrs - a huge boost for South Wales. But the jobs arenβt guaranteed:
- Reform say theyβll scrap them
- Plaid will in practice do the same. They object to any solar, pylons or wind farms being built

It's good to see some some much needed attention on the situation at the Morriston branch of Jhoots in the South Wales Evening Post - staff and customers deserve better.
