Judge Orders Hearings for Immigration Detainees and Condemns ‘Terror Against Noncitizens’ As tensions mount between the Trump administration and the courts, the judge called “shameless” a claim by officials that her earlier order was not binding.

In a fiery ruling that accused the government of failing to follow court orders, a federal judge ordered the Department of Homeland Security to notify thousands of immigrants detained nationwide that they can join a lawsuit against the government and get either a hearing or be immediately released.

UPDATE: Staff at the ICE concentration camp in Dilley, Texas have begun raiding the dormitories of kids and their parents to confiscate and destroy letters from the children. This is in response to the ace reporting by @micarosenberg et al for ProPublica:

This is what ICE does every day. Hunt little kids who are here legally. They get sent to a place called the “baby jail” in Texas. Very little of it ends up on video like this. But it’s routine. And disgusting.
