For the Mar series it might feel like years but the planned four books barely cover the equivalent of one year--if that. You're in the thick of it with them and it's certainly the most meaningful time of their lives but by no means is it all of it.

Difficult to phrase that without spoilers.

Oh, fun, #LateNightWrite. It is realworld adjacent but there's a lot of magic and nonsense. Most exciting thing is how the highway is all versions of that highway through all times and what the 'hereafter' is. It'll come up but not the how, because mysteries are fun and I don't know either.

It's been alright. I'm not writing what I need to and am instead writing something entirely different but it's 30k words in now so...it's happening.

Yes.

Iggy can be an insufferable brat which causes problems for him and Bo with anyone they interact with but not between them. Save arguments that resolve quickly. There's more patience for each other than others at play.

They're insufferably adorable and I hate them.

Bo is easygoing and open to new things. He's pretty set in who he is but few would say that needs changing.

Ignatius is closed off in a lot of ways and too open in others. He'll tell you you're wrong while going along with your plan. Resistant to change but not combative.
