A siingle red rose is worth at least 12 times more than a bouquet of a dozen, because you merely ask the florist for a dozen flowers, but when you take the time to sort through and peruse all of those red roses just to find the one that speaks to you and says, "I'm the one deserving of being bestowed upon your loved one.... Now that's special, that's thoughtful, that's love. #tallship .

I've always believed that there's little value in a dozen red roses - anyone can order that on a phone w/a credit card.

But, to take the time to select the single rose that speaks to you and give that to your loved on... That's special.

There's usually a particularly territorial #Pelican hanging out on top of the bait tank at the end of the wharf. Would love to see a pic of him/her next time you take a walk out there.

The ***Horseshoe** of the Redondo Beach Pier, viewed from the outside, looking towards the shore. One of Randy Joe's Sunshine Kite Company's huge kites aloft overhead. I used to dive for change here in the 70's and hide from Harbor Patrol boats inside the pylons under the pier until they gave up trying to catch us.

Old Tony's, from the boardwalk along the center of the "Horseshoe", at the ground level of the parking structure.

There used to be an actual beach here, popular with folks having young kids in tow. You can still see the old stairwells. I began my SCUBA career right here.
