Remember when The Onion was the joke paper and WaPo was the serious news?

Note that "we" in this case is "people who understand trans folks and support them and are normal on the left" as opposed to Newsom types and the GOP types. I don't want to claim trans identity or that I'm speaking for trans folks. I'm just someone that wants trans folks to live and be happy.

Trans people would love for everyone to just stop messing around with their healthcare and rights so that they too can just focus on paying bills, rather than having to fight for their literal lives 24/7.
