It is brainwashing. I saw it firsthand with my parents before I went no contact. My mother was especially bad. She would watch his rallies and just salivate over everything he said. She was always on Twitter. I’m sure she’s still on it, especially now that it’s X and she likes Musk too. 🤮🤮🤮

I hear you. I was in my 40’s before I felt ready to walk away. I spent so many years thinking I could have a healthy relationship with them if I tried hard enough. They aren’t going to change, and I had to accept that. It’s hard, though, to get to that point.

💯 They look for information to justify their position. Any challenge to that is “fake news.” My mother is 💯 MAGA and I think she pulled my father to that side.

When Nancy Mace was carrying on about trans women using bathrooms in the WH, I realized she’s just like my mother. The only difference is that she is rich. My mother is anti choice too. Not sure where my father stands anymore. They are both racist.

My mother had the audacity to say tRump’s accusers made it up to get his money, that he was a good looking man who didn’t need to assault women. 🤮🤮🤮 They both thought the me too movement was a hoax. They never took me seriously either. 😡

There would be if people can’t pay for food. Food shelves can’t sustain this long term. It’s not a competition as to which hurts people more. Without food or healthcare people suffer. Some people are affected by both.

It may not be practical, but when has that stopped this administration? They probably aren’t going to get back what has been paid, but they can penalize states in other ways, by withholding other funding. Not all states have paid SNAP benefits or have not paid in full so people are still waiting. 😡

I’m struggling to feel sorry for someone who has disposable income like this and has the nerve to complain about what they spent it on, especially these days. If you have $28 to spend on a meal for yourself, you are lucky.

That’s the thing. The states that funded full SNAP benefits are being threatened and told they have to give it back. The group of AG’s/governors that sued had to file a TRO last night and were in court today. It’s not over.

I wouldn’t be surprised. Also, there are people who don’t want to see how the Dems are failing us too. We deserve better than these career politicians who just sell us out.
