A photo I took in 2002 at the Hiroshima Peace Park. The Genbaku Dome is seen in the background, through the arch of the A-Bomb Cenotaph. A group of primary school kids crowd the foreground. There on a school history trip. The photo was originally shot on a Fuji GSW690iii camera. The drawing on the left - entitled "A charred corpse holding a child" - is by Hatsuto Tanimoto. It depicts an adult holding a child, 1000m from the hypocentre of the blast, at Kami-nagarekawa-cho.
Yesterday marked 80yrs since the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Saturday is the 80th anniversary of the Nagasaki bombing. The piece below is from 2002. Sorry, it's such a small scan. Original photo by me, paired with a drawing by hibakusha Hatsuto Tanimoto.

川普宣布开除劳工统计局局长，因此前发布的非农就业新增人数被大幅向下修正，美股暴跌，美元汇率下滑，国债价格大幅攀升。
当然川普绝不承认经济有问题，他说劳工统计局局长埃里卡·麦克恩塔弗博士（Dr. Erika McEntarfer）在选举前伪造就业数据，试图提升卡玛拉获胜的机会。
而前两个月非农就业数据被系统性高估（统计假设的调整存在延迟，很大程度上也算是正常现象），同一个人被川普大大钦封为“出色的专业人士”
我真的，包帝都没这么离谱。
