Now my situation is pretty dire. I emailed you again.

If COVID resulted in everyone getting harmless, untreatable, utterly gross pustules covering their entire face for weeks we wouldn't still be in a pandemic.

1. I've said exactly this for quite some time. Expanding on Adrian's @sillyputty78.bsky.social point on X / Twitter here, Covid-19 has three distinct characteristics as a disease that enables it to be denied at a societal level.

Nothing but venture capitalism going on here.

"Things maybe suck? Let's do this, that, and the other thing to look like we're changing things for the better. We'll be outta' here in a few years in better shape than ever. The company/government? No f-ing way and we don't gaf.

Because the pain is the point. How else can you dissolve the federal governments role, pretend to allow states to do all that former-fed stuff, still pull funds and not reallocate, protect the tech industry from anti-monopolistic action, and ensure profits for all the already rich and powerful?

If I built a home and then discovered that it could only remain standing if I constantly massacred children, I would simply change my living arrangements.

I would not claim my building "has a right to exist".

I would not spend years explaining why my child massacres are okay.

Ugh. Sorry to hear this. What result do you get at what dosage that helps drag your ass back from all this? I've not any noticeable results from CoQ10 but I've only ever used it at recommended doses and intermittently.

I don't follow Brian here, but I follow on FB. I absolutely do understand the framing outlined re: respirators need to be for everyone if it's to be effective against pathogens like covid in our uber-ableist world. He doesn't frame avoidance as just for the immunocompromised rather than for all.

lol ffs - lifetime with any mechanical thing theses days is a few years if you're fortunate.

I have the one on the right with old-person assist. One recommendation is get one from Lifepro as I think most things they sell has a lifetime warranty.

It is interesting how the CDC recently changed the graphic to explain the #H5N1 spread without explicitly acknowledging it is an airborne virus. Lack of transparent communication did not help with the previous pandemic.
